Monthly reports

Consolidation

Company ABC manages 7 companies, each with a different GL system.

We provided a solution to clean each GL extract, mapped to a centralized chart of accounts and output a consolidated dataset that can be reported on.

Drop the processing time of running their monthly report from days to hours and added functionalities and accuracy along the way.

Budgeting

It is the season.

Company DEF has Excel workbooks loved by the managers to input the yearly budget. Their process to consolidate all the data from the different templates (50+) was time-consuming and prone to errors.

After a few cosmetic changes to the templates, we created a process using a macro to consolidate all the templates in one go. We also built in the right format output for their reporting software.

They even now use it to create revised forecasts each month.

Reconciling data

Boring tasks

Company XYZ was reconciling its data against a third-party company for commission purposes. Both files each month are thousand of lines long with no direct data point connecting the two together.  

We created a macro doing multiple passes comparison using dates,  Names,  amount,  etc...

They are now able to reconcile 90% of the data in one go with a note if the probability of the match is low and needs manual review.
